Tindy C interviews Bally Virdee & Billi Hamnett – about Dementia & a special charity event 29.7.12
Tindy C interviews Specialist Dementia Nurse Billi Hamnett who works in the A&E Department of Leicester Royal Infirmary, along with Bally Virdee, one of the Security Team Leaders at the Leicester Royal Infirmary.
The security team and members of staff from the NHS Trust A&E Department at the Leicester Royal Infirmary are doing a charity event to raise money for a much needed facility within the A&E department.
Tindy C asks Billi more about Dementia – a condition which affects many people, and
talks to Bally about the actual charity event (84 miles of Hadrians Wall to be covered in 4 days by the group!)
These guests give more of an insight into Dementia; the problems that can arise when Dementia patients attend A&E, along with details of what they will be doing to raise the money for a Specialist Room (maybe even more than one!) within the A&E Department at The Leicester Royal Infirmary.
